Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about studying at FineStream Institute.
How are the courses structured?
Each course includes concise lectures, worked examples, and studio challenges. You’ll ship small prototypes to practice the skill in context.
Do you offer certificates?
Yes. We provide a completion certificate for each course and an endorsed track certificate for multi-course pathways. Certificates are not academic degrees.
What is the refund policy?
If a course clearly does not fit your needs, request a refund within 14 days of purchase and before completing more than 20% of the material.
How much time should I allocate?
Most courses run 6–18 hours. We recommend 4–6 hours per week to balance learning and prototype time without burnout.
Are the courses beginner-friendly?
Absolutely. Our beginner track starts with vocabulary, core loops, and probability intuition. Advanced designers can skip directly to specialization tracks.
Do you cover manufacturing and publishing?
Yes. We teach dielines, bill of materials, pre-press checks, freight basics, and contracts—no legal advice, just practical orientation.
Is there community support?
We offer structured peer review cycles and feedback templates, so critique remains constructive and actionable.
Do you provide accessibility guidance?
We include accessibility audits for iconography, color contrast, font choice, and rules language, tailored to tabletop contexts.
